The last hour-long concert of the season was held in the
Odette Sculpture Park, at the foot of Bridge Avenue, near the Ambassador
bridge. The weather was perfect. On Saturday it rained. but Sunday was fair,
slightly cool, but dry. The recent high winds had blown away the ozone and smog
so the 8:04 scheduled sunset added to the evenings spectacle. The music chosen
was mostly uptempo and distinctly unstaid. Jaz and ragtime were well
represented. |
